Submitted Proposal Evaluation:

The TWEAK proposal was submitted to the Erasmus+ Forward-Looking Projects 2025 call — a highly competitive programme in which 88 proposals were submitted and only 3 were funded.

Although the proposal was not selected in this cycle, the evaluation feedback has directly informed a strategic restructuring phase aimed at reinforcing institutional alignment, partnership balance, and policy integration.

What We Learned:
  • The need for stronger institutional alignment at national level
  • Clearer integration between pilot environments and formal partnership structures
  • A more balanced geographical and pedagogical representation
  • Greater policy anchoring and long-term sustainability planning

These insights have been instrumental in refining the conceptual and structural foundations of TWEAK.

We remain confident in the pedagogical strength of the core idea and its relevance to European priorities on basic skills, structured thinking, and responsible AI awareness in education.

THE IDEA

TWEAK helps children aged 4–12 develop clear thinking, communication and basic skills through playful, screen-free activities. Using paper, games and collaborative tasks, children learn to create and follow instructions, building foundations for effective interaction with both people and AI.

Next Steps:
Next Steps Our next phase includes: Building a more education-centred consortium, including institutions directly involved in teacher training and curriculum development Strengthening formal commitments with pilot schools within participating countries Refining the policy and sustainability framework Consolidating the transnational dimension and impact strategy We believe that the TWEAK concept addresses a critical educational need in Europe: teaching children how to think clearly, communicate precisely, and interact responsibly with emerging knowledge systems. We are actively exploring future funding opportunities and new partnerships to relaunch the initiative with a stronger structural foundation.
